Three of us travelled down to Dorset on Sunday 26 April for a nice day out at Lulworth Cove on the Durassic Coast – oh, and a spot of diving! As you can see the site is very sheltered and there is no need to worry about slack either. For a first dive, or some training, it is ideal – max depth obtained was 4m during our 45min bimble about in the bay. We did spot a very well hidden Sea Scorpion which true to form was very reluctant to move and gave ample opportunity for us all to take a close look.
Three men go to Lulworth
A potentially more challenging opportunity is to dive Stair Hole, where you can venture out through the cave to sea – we’ll have to plan for slack! Or, a little further down the coast is Durdle Door – although a bit of kit carry will be required to reach the site
