Cranleigh Sub Aqua Club (CSAC) is the Cranleigh branch of BSAC, we are a group of enthusiastic and friendly scuba divers from the local area.

We welcome members of all experience levels and diving organisations, from complete beginners to seasoned divers, and we hope to create a supportive environment where everyone can develop their skills with confidence.

Become a Member

At CSAC, you'll find a friendly and supportive community of divers who share a passion for exploring the underwater world. Whether you're taking your first steps into diving or you're an experienced diver looking for regular diving opportunities and like-minded dive buddies, you'll be welcomed into a club that values safety, learning, and enjoyment.

Our members benefit from a varied diving calendar, structured training opportunities, access to club equipment and facilities, and regular social events throughout the year. The club provides an excellent environment to develop your skills, gain experience, and make lasting friendships both in and out of the water.

Membership is available from just £25 per year, making it an affordable way to get involved in the sport. Club diving activities are offered at competitive rates, with a day RIB diving (2 dives) starting from £35, providing excellent value for regular diving throughout the year.

Diverse Dive Locations

CSAC runs a full and varied diving calendar throughout the year, providing members with regular opportunities to dive, develop their skills, and explore a wide range of underwater environments. Our programme includes inland lakes and reservoirs, offering excellent conditions for training, skill development, and recreational diving for divers of all experience levels.

Members can also take advantage of regular sea diving trips aboard our own RIB, Raffles. These excursions visit a variety of coastal and offshore dive sites, including reefs, wrecks, and areas rich in marine life. Having access to our own boat allows the club to organise flexible and varied diving opportunities throughout the season. We also organise longer hardboat trips in the UK and overseas.

Whether you are newly qualified or an experienced diver, the club's active diving calendar offers something for everyone. Regular diving opportunities help members build confidence, gain experience in different environments and conditions, and enjoy the camaraderie of diving as part of a friendly and supportive club.

Comprehensive Training

Training is a key part of club life at CSAC. Throughout the autumn and winter months, we provide a structured training programme for both new and existing members, combining classroom-based lessons with practical pool sessions and open water training when conditions allow. This approach ensures divers develop both the theoretical knowledge and practical skills needed to dive safely and confidently.

Training takes place at Cranleigh Leisure Centre and Cranleigh Village Sports and Social Club, where members can learn and refine core diving skills in a safe and supportive environment. Our experienced nationally qualified instructors guide divers through each stage of their development, helping them progress at a pace that suits their individual goals and experience levels.

We offer training from introduction level Discovery Diver through to Advanced Diver within the Club. We also offer crossover training  from other recognised organisations if requested.

Whether you are taking your first steps into diving or looking to advance your skills and qualifications, CSAC provides a clear pathway for progression.
